McHitch to appear on ABC's 'The New Inventors'  
McHitch is set to appear on ABC's tv's 'The New Inventors' airing on Wednesday the 25th of August 2010 at 8:00pm on ABC 1. Hosted by James O'Loghlin, The New Inventors brings you the best in new Australian inventions. From exciting innovations to eccentric designs, inventors across the country are working to improve the way we live. McHITCH UNIGLIDE TRAILER COUPLING- by inventor Joe McGinnes from NSW. If you've ever towed a caravan and ended up with a headache at the end of the journey chances are it was a result of the constant clanging and banging of the tow coupling. Even hardcore 4WD drivers become stressed out, and the wear and tear that occurs on regular couplings can jeopardise safety. After numerous trips crossing the continent to Perth and back to his NSW home, car racing enthusiast Joe McGinnes grew tired of the wear and tear on his traditional coupling, so he began searching for something better. When he couldn't find anything he decided to make it himself, and the McHitch was born. The McHitch eliminates noise and enhances flexibility by separating the point of attachment from the point of movement at the coupling. Alongside the Mchitch Uniglide coupling will be offerings by inventor Douglas Lumsden from the ACT and from inventor Charlie Boxall from QLD, with the MECHANICAL BOAT STACKER and TOTAL BODY MASTER home gym respectively. With ADR testing successfully completed, McHitch is excited to announce that the Uniglide range of trailer couplings has debuted at the N.S.W. Caravan Camping RV and Holiday SUPERSHOW at Sydney's Rosehill racecourse, held between the 17th and 25th of April. The complete range of McHitch Uniglide trailer couplings, including the H/D 6 tonne unit and all the accessories to suit are now ready for sale.
